Following the steel model, the brand launched the Defy Skyline Skeleton in black ceramic last year, retaining most of the design elements and the same surfaces – brushed with polished accents. A classic combination, for a cool summer effect, the dial and movement are painted in a deep blue for contrast. The symmetrical openwork bridges form a four-pointed star that offers a glimpse of the El Primero movement, with a 3D Zenith star suspended between the bridges at midday. This sense of symmetry is also further enhanced by the running seconds hand at 6 o'clock, which, like most Defy watches, is not a classic small seconds counter, but indicates 1/10 of a second and completes a rotation every 10 seconds.
